Week 5 - Version 2.0 released!

And it looks pretty much the exact fucking same as v1.0! Yaaaaay! Way to be superficial and not look beneath the surface, guys! GAWD! There are actually some great changes even if they're a bit ninja.

www.dregular.com (if the page seems all messed up, just CLICK REFRESH)

In no particular order:

- Updated navigation bar, featuring new ‘news’ link for more direct access to the blog as well as more descriptive link titles.
- A new ‘recent comics’ page link for easy catch-up on the most recent dregular episodes.
- Easier navigation in the ‘archive.’

It’s different enough and hopefully for the better. I still have no internet in my new place, which significantly diminishes the amount of time I can devote for new and better updates. But hopefully soon I can start reaching into my bag of tricks and being a better webmaster. For now I remain a deadbeat.

In other news (news being defined as what I find interesting enough to share) I had an interesting time yesterday morning when, somehow and somewhere, I managed to step in cake. I subsequently tracked it through the front door of my office, down the hallway to the kitchen, and then finally to my desk. To this very second, the frosting trail remains, much to the chagrin of my boss.

Those who know me won’t be surprised to hear that I have given this bizarre occurrence much thought and consideration (mostly when I was supposed to be doing something else). And I think I have figured out how it happened. I live in a top-floor apartment in an old mansion occupied by a family of four. In this manner, I truly am the Fonz to this family…a slightly skinnier, dorkier, and less motorcycle-inclined Fonz. Regardless, the oldest son of said family had a graduation party this past Sunday where I can only assume there was a cake. I also share a set of trash cans with the family, which are strategically placed under the porch amongst firewood and what seems to be a makeshift pet cemetery. To wrap it all up, I must’ve stepped in it there. Unless of course….no, nevermind.

In reference to Eddie Izzard I will paraphrase to say that I like to end my [stories] with a bit of an “eh…” feeling. And I think that I have done that. Thank you very much ladies and gentlemen.
