AND WE'RE BACK!!!

(Brownie points if you catch the catch reference.)

Yes, 'tis true, though the dregular v3.0 is still in the works. I know, for shame!

Looking back on the past few weeks, my vacation/hiatus was hardly that. I worked an absurd amount; I drank a lot; I religiously (it would seem) lost every eBay auction for a button press; and I bought a new car. Just to back up two places, I had no idea that button presses were on par with fucking Tickle Me Elmo or RUSH tickets as far as popularity and availability...er maybe just Tickle Me Elmo. And that's exactly what it feels like. A quick recon on what other items the lucky winners of these auctions have purchased in near past revealed everything from a CuisinArt mixer, to quilting supplies, to studded latex dildos. In other words: lonely, middle-aged housewife stuff. Thus, Tickle Me Elmo...

Moving right along, I think that everyone needs to "heed the call" of something. I couldn't care less what that is for you, personally, but make sure it's something that isn't stupid (or fucking gross) and do it. While this may be a challenge to some, or something that makes absolutely no fucking sense in this context, the choice is yours and yours alone. Getting to my point, there is one thing I do strongly discourage all of you from doing: taking staged pictures of yourself in an attempt to re-tell a story on your blog. It's really...sad. It's sad to think of someone painstakingly setting up your camera for shot-after-shot of yourself hoping like hell you get that one money shot of you "burning" your hand on the stove, or "eating" a really big sandwich. Now don't get me wrong, I wouldn't recommend drawing it out in stick-figures either. That's even more depressing as my entire site can attest. But this isn't about me, it's about you people... stop with the self-photos.

I feel much better now.

Oh yeah...and if I could punch anyone in the face as hard as I could...

V3.0 is on the way. Nothing too different, just a more structurally-sound site. Keep tuning in and it's good to be back.
